About Ensemble Abstract

Hypothesis: music can reach new and exciting levels by reducing preconceptions and allowing
musicians to respond to one another rather than performing established notation.
Materials: assemble competent musicians with an interest in pushing musical limits.
Procedure: discuss and build a basic musical roadmap with some planned elements and hit record.
Control: the control is the magnetic recordable medium to which all performances are captured.
Variables: each musician is free to improvise whatever they want in response to what others are playing.
